Three (3) butterfly in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case. These range in size from 1 3/8 x 1 3/8 to 1 5/8 x 2 3/8. They are arranged in one column. The top butterfly is folded and is dark brown with darker brown wavy lines. The lower two are rust colored with brown border. They have yellow, purple, and rust colored eyespots on upper wings, purple and black eyespots on lower wings. The last butterfly is female. Verso from left to right and top to bottom: "Vaness exLarvae 6-26-1930 Brokenhead manitoba, Canada June 26, 1930 ex Larvae [female symbol]"
