The object is an aluminum skateboard from ca. 1975. The board is made of aluminum and has the work "BANZAI" stamped on the top of the board. Three strips of grips (like sandpaper) are present on either side of the work Banzai. The wheels are red and made of Urethane, which was invented in California and revolutionized skateboarding nationally. The donor (Jay Taylor) states he used the skateboard to skate empty swimming pools in the City of Sacramento in the 1970s. Four stickers are present on the bottom face of the board: 1) "KZAP 985FM" 2) "...ORK" 3) "STP The Racers Edge" 4) Vanina's Auto Stereo Clario." Both wheel attachments are embossed with "California Slalom" and the wheels themselves have "SIM PURE JUICE Competition" printed on them.
