This is an oil painting on canvas of a landscape with an orange grove. A row of orange trees appears along the upper margin and in a group at bottom left where a man is picking fruit on a ladder. A steam locomotive divides the image horizontally, and is partially obscured by a pink house that appears at center right with a woman standing in the doorway. A man wheels a cart at bottom center in a yard filled with animals.
