Basket, open work, small "Commercial cotton string handle made by sewing two strands of string together with black thread. Peeled willow on hazel sticks. Little collected type of basket. Although Wilcomb collected this basket at Cache Creek, probably not made there. Seems from further west." (Bruce Bernstein and Craig Bates, 7/91) " Basket used for storage of small articles.
