Basket hopper, twined. Used on flat stone in grinding acorns. Received from: Doctor Nick Swift
"Extremely rare piece. Demonstrates eclectic nature of Grindstone population, even in 1913. Few things have been collected from Grindstone. Plain twine of pine root. Rim bound with grapevine, with bark left on and bark taken off.(C. Bates & B. Bernstein, 7/91)
