Pipes, metal (D. Peterson 2/79) (2 spec.) (A: 1 pipe; B: 1 water chamber only) Date: L. 1800's - E. 1900's. A: Water pipe; brass alloy; base w/ chased all-over floral design w/ top and bottom ju-i borders; tobacco chamber w/ lid having characters; water chamber w/ long slender stem; braided blue cord w/ two white tassels attached to base and stem. B: Water chamber; brass alloy: square base w/ long slender, four sided stem; tobacco receptacle missing; characters on bottom. Condition: both w/ smoke stain; water pipe w/ out tweezers and brush. Dimensions: Waterpipe: base: 3 1/4" x 1 5/8" ht. 15 7/8" water chamber: base: 1 1/8 x 1 1/8 ht. 15 1/8". Remarks: specific use was for tobacco only.
