Handkerchief for man, 80 yrs. old,. Handmade of blue & white linen. February 27, 1998, Inez Brooks-Myers: This textile may be a handkerchief. On the otherhand, it might also be a napkin. Because of the spin of the linen I believe it was more likely a napkin or a towel. It's materials and weave, although not its size, also indicate that its function was that of a napkin or a towel.
