Photograph, Early Oakland. "First Presbyterian Church; the first church building was erected in 1854 at the corner of 6th & Harrison. In fall of 1864 the old church building was removed to East side of the s/e corner of Broadway & 13th Sts. This property one half block frontage was purchased for $3000, and sold in 1874 for $24,000. The lot on n/e corner of 14th 7 Franklin Sts., 150x206, was purchased in 1874 for $12,000 - a new edifice erected and dedicated in Jan. 1876"
