Doll. Description: Chinese girl, Huo Mih-Lan. (R.Tickner 2/05) Painted plaster figurine of Chinese woman. Arms and legs are made of rolled paper over a wire armature. Handwritten tag atttached to left arm reads: "Huo Mah-San Chinese woman in Chinese army disguised as man for 12 years before being detected as a woman." Carries a bow (no arrow present) in her right hand. Doll is attached to a wooden base incised "MADE IN CHINA"
