Table. Description: Spanish, dark finish, drawer with iron pull
From the History Information Station
Object: Oak table made during the 19th century. The nails in the table top and the drawer pull are made of hand-forged iron. Although legs have been carefully turned on a lathe, the decoration on the drawer is hand carved.
History: This table is representative of the type of furniture made in Spain and Mexico. Furniture of this style was imported for use in the California missions.
