The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates the Macy (Brooklyn) Tract at 1891. The map on the verso of this leaflet shows the area to lie between Moss and Ritchie Aves., the cross streets being Atherton and Dowling. Farnham and Thermal Aves. are included in the subdivision; they parallel Moss and Ritchie. Capt. Howell is cited as the agent for the sale of these lots. "Near the Oakland and Haywards Electric Road, and directly adjoning the proposed Hearst Electric Road along the foot-hills from Oakland eastward through the finest residence suburb of the City of Oakland." The lots are priced at $200 each. A drawing on p. 4 of the leaflet shows the proposed Heaarst Electric Road going from Haywards to Oakland, and mostly paralelling San Leandro Road (East 14th St.)
