The area shown on the map on the verso of this leaflet lies between Jean St. and Vernon St. on Moss Ave., Santa Clara Ave, Santa Rose Ave, Vernon St. and Jean St. "This is the only tract between Oakland and Piedmont, in which the streets are sewered, graded, curbed and macadamized, city water pipes and cement sidewalks laid. William j. Dingee is listed as the real estate agent. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates the Stanford Tract at 1890? The difference between this offering of lots in the Stanford Tract and the one contained in h69.38.1562 in the Museum's collection, is there are lots shown for sale on Jean St. and on Vernon and Chetwood Sts. north of Santa Rosa Ave.
