1887
Gift of Mr. William G. Boardman
H69.38.1623
The subdivision shown on the large map has the area divided into multiple-acre lots, ranging in size from 5-12 acres. Temescal Reservoir is at the north of the area and Temescal Creek is shown running south-west. The residences of William J. Dingee, Charles E. Livermore and J.G. Eastland are shown on the map. William J. Dingee and Easton & Eldridge are cited as the real estate agents. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin lists this tract as Hays (Col. Jack). An Index map is also included in this leaflet; it shows the Col. Jack Hays Tract as a shaded area. A lithograph depicting fruit and ornamental trees, and a woman in a dress with a bustle, holding a stick with a bird on top of it, is also provided.
