The area of this tract is bounded on the west by Nutley Ave. (now 57th Ave.?) and on the east by Seminary Ave. The southern boundary street is east 14th St. and the northern boundary street is probably what is today, east 16th St. The only east-west street in the subdivision is Orion St. (now east 15th St.) with lot frontages. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates the Kingsland Tract at 1889. "This is the only property outside the City of Oakland that can be sewered; the main sewer is now laid on Seminary Avenue...Seminary Station only 3 blocks from the property. Water mains of the Contra Costa Water Co. now laid..." Jeffress & White are cited as the sole agents for the property. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates the Kingsland Tract at 1889.
