The area of this map is bounded by Watson Ave. (Athol St.) and Portland Ave. on the west, Brooklyn Ave. on the north, Montclair Ave. (although not named) on the east, and Fourth Ave. (Park Blvd.) on the south. Van Dyke Ave. bisects this two-block tract, in a north-south direction. "Note: Ridgewood is subdivision of Plot No. 6 of the Watson Tract, as shown on the map on file in book 4, page 6, Alameda County Records." An additional note in red ink: "July 30 - 93.
