This brochure shows the location of several properties for sale at auction on Saturday, June 24, 1876, at 2 p.m. by Olney & Co., 857 Broadway, Oakland, and 219 Sansome St., San Francisco. The subdivision shown in most detail is the Kearney Tract in Berkeley. This tract is bounded by College Ave. on the west, Kearney Ave. on the north, Asylum Ave. the east, and Russ St. on the south. North-south cross streets are Aetna and Mark. Except for College Ave., all of these streets have been renamed. In addition, several properties in Oakland are being auctioned. One is at the corner of 12th and Harrison streets across from the Grand Central Hotel and the Dexter Stables. Another property is a 60 by 100 ft. lot on 11th St. near Washington. A cottage and lot on Filbert St. and five lots at the corner of 21st and Filbert streets are being offered. An additional lot on the north-west corner of Union and 22nd Streets is to be auctioned. H. M. Newhall & Co. is also an agent. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates this tract at 1876.
