This brochure advertises the sale of "the cheapest and best lots on the market" in Paradise Park whose northern portion is in Berkeley and whose southern portion is in Oakland. The lots are for sale by Snyder & Gillis, 467 9th St., Oakland. An inset map shows the location of the property in relation to Berkeley and Oakland. This tract is also known as the McKee Tract (McGee, according to Quentin's Tract List). The property is bounded on the west by Occidental St. (which becomes California St. in Berkeley), on the north by Alcatraz Ave., on the east by Paradise St. which is now probably Genoa St., and on the south by Mariposa and Stanley streets. Mariposa and Stanley are now probably 58th and 59th streets. Stanford and Adeline streets pass diagonally through the property. East-west streets are Felton (now 63rd St.), Todd (now 62nd St.), McKee (now 61stSt.), and Benton, which is now probably 60th St. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates this tract at 1877 and 1906. Bancroft Way. Chapel, Dana, and Union streets run north-south through the property. This part of Ellsworth has been iincorporated into University property now. Chapel and Union streets no longer exist and Choate may now be Shattuck. The northern portion of the property of the College Homestead Association is shown to the south of the subdivision. The L. Doe and E. Hunt properties are shown. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin dates this tract at 1872.
