Photograph. Title: Image Description: (131b) Mormon Family. On man with women and children in front of a log building. Physical Description: "Imperial Plate" collodion glass negative, 10"X13". Sub. Cat.: Transportation -- Railroads. A Mormon family.. At Kaysville, Utah, this extended family lines up for posterity. Mary and Samuel Ashton (she is standing behind him in the doorway) are surrounded by her mother, three sisters, and five nieces and nephews. The minuscule accommodation provided by their sod-roofed cabin is a cause for wonderment.

"Cannot confirm this information about the family" remarks per Glenn Willumson for the NEA Russell Grant, July 2013 - June 2015.
