Chinese skirt. Description: Chinese skirt. White brocade silk w/multi-colored embroidered floral motif. Piping of black defines panels of skirt. Thick browish linen waist band. Lined in blue silk. c. late 19th Century. History: The skirt was given to Mrs. Wager's sister by her Chinese domestic in 1927, who's family resided in Angeles Camp. The sister and Mrs. Wager lived in Oakland.
