(D. Cooper, 3/2000) This image appeared in "Oakland Revisited" with the following caption: "San Pablo and Telegraph Avenues Intersecting Broadway, Downtown Oakland, 1909, Gabriel Moulin."
(P. Mendelsohn, 8/2002) Additional information from the above source as follows: " The First National Bank, now the Broadway Building, is flanked by trolley cars of F. M. "Borax" Smith's Oakland Traction Company. The present Cathedral Building had not yet been built behind the flagpole at Telegraph and Broadway.
