Child's coat. Description: corded white cotton pique; very full long slvs.; large pointed collar w/insets of eyelet embroidery, collar & cuffs edged w/ruffle of eyelet embroidery; 3 buttons down yoke front, 2 buttons on each cuff, 4 button cluster decorating 4 points & 3 button cluster on 2 back points of collar; box pleats. Condition: very good. Dimensions: 10.25" across shoulders; 23.5" nape to hem. History: Kahn label. Could be either for a girl or a boy. Kahn is the seller, not the maker. Closer to 1900 then 1890, may still be 90's, but c.1895-1900 seems more like it. (Colleen Callahan, 11/15/1993)
