All of the photographs are covered by plastic. Letter from Wm. Penn Mott, Jr., Superintendent of Parks, to Mayor Clifford E. Rishell, July 7, 1954: "Enclosed is a photograph (Acc.# 74.31.163rrr) taken of you at Peralta Playland last weekend. You will be interested to know that we had the largest attendance over the 4th of July weekend at Peralta Playland that we have ever experienced. On the 5th of July alone we had over six thousand passengers on the two trai.ns" Photograph. Description: Mayor Richell in Peralta Playland during July 4th, celebration.
