Report card. Description: "Public Schools of Oakland", 1899, lightweight tagboard, white with red & black printing and the names of George Kahler (student) and A.M. Quince (teacher) penned in with ink. good conduct award for 4 weeks. History: this was the donor's own first report card, received at Harrison School in Oakland in 1899 when he was in the first grade there. The school was at 5th & Harrison Streets and is now demolished. George Heinold (of the First & Last Chance Saloon fame) was in the same class.
