History: Donor's uncle, Noble McCulloch was a boiler maker at Moore and Scott. U.S.A.T. "Thomas" at Moore & Scott Ship Yard, Oakland, Cal., August 1910, being rebuilt and overhauled, and group of mechanics engaged in the work. Dimensions: 5,713 tons gross; 450' Length x 50' breadth x 30' depth of Hold x 24' draft of water. The "Thomas" is the largest vessel ever taken up Oakland Creek.
