Neon sign. Description: Neon sign, double sided sheet metal sign with attached neon tubing spelling "Herb". Sign is in the form of a dismond-in-a-square with neon tubing running along edge of diamond. Sign says "Trade Mark", Prof. Wong Yeen", "Herb", "Preparations Reg. U.S. Pat. Office", "Aug. 23, 1930", "S. No. 304-987", in white letters against a blue background. Both sides identical. Condition: poor, neon broken in several points on both sides; paint peeling profusely from sheet metal on both sides. Dimensions: H: 5'; W: 75"; D: 15". Remarks: Oakland Museum received the sign from Federal Sign & Signal after latter had removed it from its original Oakland Chinatown location.
