Incomplete hat. Description: Black satin hat with high crown and wide brim under construction - inside shows how facing of white cloth is cut and how brim and crown are put together (pins still in place). Condition: Excellent. 16-5/8" x 13 1/2" x 4 1/2". History: This is a hat Miss Helen started and never completed. Remarks: Particularly nice example of the millinery process.
