Infant's dress. Description: White plain weave (linen or cotton, batiste or lawn), longish sleeves and neck are both trimmed with embroidered scalloped edges; each sleeve is also decorated with a forget-me-not type flower embroidered in white, matching such flowers embroidered in the small, shallow yoke (with a cluster of four at center front); fastens at the back with four, small mother-of-pearl buttons; dress has very simple lines, except for clustered box pleats under each arm. Dimensions: 9" across shoulders 19-1/4" nape to hem. History: probably worn by one of the three girls born at Fabiola.
