Boxed Diorama. Description: Wood framed box with glass sides and top. Top glass bears a black and gold decal reading: "WORK PROJECTS ADMINISTRATION/VISUAL AID/W.P. No. 11528/OAKLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS". Diorama depicts an 18th century interior, c. 1770, with two costumed figures. The man is wearing a brown long coat and knee breeches and green waistcoat. His powdered wig is tied with a black ribbon. The woman is wearing a two-toned dress with full skirt of apricot and grey. Lace ruffles on ends of sleeves and on bodice. She is holding a fan. Maroon carpeting. Fabric wall covering.
