Field Book. Description. "W. F. Boardman's Field Book" (from cover). Approx. 150 pages, unpaginated. Handwritten entries of surveying field data from 1845 (in New York State?) through 1860 in Oakland. Entries on first dozen or so pages; remainder of book blank. Cover light brown leather over cardboard, leaves unrules white paper. Title etched and inked by hand on front cover. Condition 3; cover shows wear overall, esp. at edges and spine, first signature weak, leaves generally clean. Dimensions: 8" x 5" History: See donor file.
