Track Suit. Description: a) white wool track shirt with Olympic Patch and red white, and blue stripes running diagonally across. Well worn, stained and discolored with moth holes. b) white cotton shorts with faded red, white and blue stripe trim. Dimensions: a) 24 1/2" long by 20" across bottom hem. b) 12" top to bottom 29" waist labelled size 32. History: Worn by Archie Williams (an Oakland resident) in the Berlin Olympics 1936 where he won the Gold Medal in the 400 meters in 46.5. Wonderful, swimsuit shape. (Trish Cunningham, 12/7/1993)
