Description: black fabric bag with warp printed satin and pile weave; pattern of roses in both warp and pile; roses are red, white, and yellow; leaves are olive-green, green, and chartreuse, between metal clasp and fabric bag is a line of sewn-on black beads on both sides; interior is of ivory-colored satin; at the top of interior is "silver" cord, with rows of green, red, and pink embroidery; inside are two pockets, also embroidered at the top; inside also is a row of same embroidery running around the middle of the bag, within the pockets also; metal "silver" clasp is of ornate scroll with a puto holding floral sprays; chain has "Fu dogs" along length (10 of them); clasp has push-button device to open the bag; bag itself has trim of black piping. Dimensions: 9-1/2" x 10-1/2"; chain 22"; History: Belonged to Mrs. William E. Dargie (nee Ermina Peralta). Smocked, not embroidered. They don't look like Fu dogs - they look more like squirrels.
