thimble. Description: thimble, of "gold" metal (possibly copper or brass), with embossed floral sprays and scrollwork as outer design; has space for engraving initials or name on both sides has a "gold" wash. Dimensions: 3/4" x 3/4"; Condition: very good; bottom rim dented with use. History: Belonged to Mrs. William P. Toler, died c. 1917 at age 94.
