Description: a: wooden case, front panel has stippled design and copper plate w/ initials "EC"; b: scissors, gilt, handles have floral spray in basket design; c: gilt thimble with flower and vine motif on edge band; d: gilt headed stilleto with floral and star burst design on head; e: gilt needle case, floral overall design, knob at bottom; f: lid, matches case, with knob at top. Dimensions: a: 5" x 3' x 3/4"; b: 3" 5/8" x 1/8"; c: 1" x 11/16"; d; 3 3/8" x 5/8"; e: 2 1/8" x 5/16" x 1/8"; f: 1 1/16" x 5/16" x 1/8" History: Betty Ault collection. References/Remarks: Case is later than the tools. No two tools match in design, obviously put together because all are gilt, so at a glance they appeared to be a set of tools.
