emery. Description: emery strawberry of red silk with small yellow dots embroidered on; silver top with a loop (hallmark is stamped in a scroll) pattern in a series of scroll and curves. Dimensions: 1" diam. x 1 5/8" condition: silk is in poor condition, especially at the top (near silver) and at the bottom tip. History: Purchased by Betty Ault at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, February 22, 1966 for $4.50. Used to clean rusty needles. References/Remarks: Ault listing, Emery #2.
