Four rows of standing children, the two in the center front hold a board which is inscribed, "Highland, 1932, 2A & #B, Miss Landram." The donor, Thelma Shobe, is the third from the left in the third row. Note that half of the boys wear over-alls to class. There is an Asian child, third from the right in the front row. Notice that some of the girls are still wearing stockings, while others have switched to bobby sox (anklets).
