A: Thermometer of clear glass with mercury within,white glass band and black calibrations to register human temperatures from 94 degrees up to 108 degree. The aluminum knob at the end becomes the cap for B: Case of natural colored aluminum with twisted spiral design. End is threaded inside to attach to cap. Small clip at other end has metal chain with safety pin attached. C: Box lid is cardboard covered with green pebbled textured paper;off white label on top: Certified Clinical Thermometer The Owl Drug Co. D: Box base is cardboard covered with green pebbled textured paper. E: Standards certificate and instructions sheet. Green print on white paper. One side provides instructions for use, the other side reads (in part):"Certified Clinical Thermometer...We, the undersigned manufacturers, hereby certify that our...thermometer No.4383 has been examined and tested and...meet all of the requirements ...in the United States Department of Commercial Standard CS1-32 for Clinical Thermometers."...MWK 11-93:box needs to be numbered.
