The Pedigo Patent Galvanized iron Washer

The washing machine has its name Pedigo Perfection Washer stencilled on wood edge of tub top. Original black stencilled designs run along the legs. The washer has a wooden insert which swings back and forth a few inches above the corrugated tub bottom to scrub clothes. The original paper instructions for use is on the tub side. The donor found the washer in his basement when he bought the house from the original owner. The house was built in 1905.
