Group of artifacts excavated from and found at the site of the Old Oakland Project of Storek & Storek. Objects formerly exhibited at the Oakland Museum Storefront Museum. P: rim and side fragment with a curve to it. One side is brown throughout with raised circular designs, the other side is smooth with the color blending /fading from brown to green to yellow. Group of 19 (A-S) ceramic shards. A: rim and side fragment of a container, possibly part of a teapot, white throughout with an unidentifiable raised design. There is a lip showing it used to have a top and there is a place where a handle broke off; B: white circular teacup? handle; C: blue and white bowl fragment that includes part of the rim, side and foot. Flower design on the inside and the outside is white with a blue line along the rim and two blue parallel lines along the foot; D: base of an oval bowl white throughout with a black maker's mark on the bottom. "Thomas Furnival & Sons" in capital block letters in a banner above the logo of a lion, a crest, and a unicorn above the words "Trade" and "Mark" separated by an anchor crossed with a spear? Below which is another banner with "England" written inside; E: small plate/shallow bowl approximately 60% of rim intact, sides, and foot. Black maker's mark on bottom of bowl with "...Maddock & Sons England" inside a circle beneath a crown; F: curved white fragment with three parallel dark blue lines above the curve with a strip of light blue above that; G: a teal, gold, yellow, white and green plate/bowl fragment with scalloped rim and a raised design along the rim and side: H: small white fragment with a black maker's mark, a circle with a crest inside and a unicorn next to it; I: small white fragment with a green maker's mark on one side with "Royal" in capital block letters and the image of a lion; J: curved rim and side fragment. Two parallel thin pinkish lines with a fat green line between them along the rim, one thin pinkish line along the inside edge of the plate; K: curved rim and side fragment. The outside has a stroke of orange paint on the edge, the inside has bronze, orange and green paint on a white background; L: curved fragment, white on the outside, white and blue Asian design of a building on the inside; M: rim, side, and foot white plate/bowl fragment with raised flower design; N: curved plate fragment with scalloped rim, a raised design below the rim and in the center. White throughout with green garland with pink flowers along the side; O: container top fragment with a curved rim and lip. White throughout with gold along the rim and pink flowers with green leaves below a light blue color with gold design by the rim; P: rim and side fragment with a curve to it. One side is brown throughout with raised circular designs, the other side is smooth with the color blending /fading from brown to green to yellow; Q: yellow/orange bowl with a raised bumpy design on the outside and smooth and cream colored inside, approximately 50% of the foot is intact; R: white cup consisting of four fragments glued together, 100% of the foot is intact; S: rim and side fragment, stamped/marked "5/71 Bates Elliot & Co." and a maker's mark consisting of a crest with a lion on one side and a unicorn on the other with the words "Dieu Et Mon...Hay..."
