Yearbook published by the high nine Journalism Class of December, 1928 of Roosevelt Junior High School, Richmond, California. The school faculty is listed, there are several pen and ink drawings, as well as small black and white photographic images, some of the students. The pages contain stories by the students, a joke section and several pages of advertising, which list many businesses in Richmond. History of Roosevelt Middle School (P.Lau, 8/2002) The Roosevelt Middle School, located at Nineteenth Avenue and East Ninth Street, was built in the 1920s, and was organized as a junior- senior high school in 1924. The school was proposed by Irvin D.Martin, first principle of Intermediate School No. 1.The school was later named in honor of Theodore Roosevelt.
