Handwritten in blue pencil on the back of the photograph, "Freight being brought into Kahn's Sunday Dec. 1st.--Dec. 7, 1946." Photo shows the street corner at Telegraph and 17th St, in Oakland. Two motorcycle police officers going up 17th with a freight truck following them. Another truck is stopped at the crosswalk on Telegraph. On either side of the street are police officers with a crowd of people standing behind them watching the truck with the police escort go by. In the background are Fred Benioff's Fashion Corner, A.F. Edwards Jewelers, and Lingren's Shoes. Also the sign for H.C.Capwell and the Tribune tower in the distance,
