Handwritten on the back, "16th and San Pablo, Sunday Dec 1st." Photo shows a large crowd of people standing on the sidewalk and in the street at 16th and San Pablo. The crowd is a mixed group of men and women and some children, in various types of dress, from suits to work clothes, even a sailor or two in the crowd. The crowd is being held at bay by a line of police officers standing across the intersection of the two streets. Behind the police are a bunch of parked motorcycles. Presumably the crowd is watching the trucks unloading freight at Kahn's.
