Silver and Black, Raiders Exhibit, September 1995-January 1996

Photo shows Ben Davidson tackling the Miami Dolphins quarterback. Davidson has his arms wrapped around the other players neck to bring him down. Both players are muddy. A referee and others players are on the field in the background. From exhibition label: "BEN DAVIDSON, december 27, 1970-- raider defensive end Ben Davidson flattens Dolphin quarterback Bob Griese in a 1970 Oakland-Miami playoff game, won by the Raiders 21-14. Miraculously, Griese completed the pass. Davidson, who sported an enormous handlebar mustache, was one of the most popular Raiders during his 1964-71 career. The Raider-dolphin rivalry was an intense one with the teams also meeting during the 1973 and 1974 conference playoffs."
