Silver and Black, Raiders Exhibit, September 1995-January 1996

Photo shows Lester Hays on the sidelines druing a game. He is holding a paper Coca-Cola cup in his hand. His hands are covered with grass. From exhibition label: "1980 PLAYOFFS, December 28, 1980--The playoff road to the Super Bowl began with a 27-7 AFC wildcard win over Houston. Even though talk of the Raiders moving from Oakland was frequently heard, fan enthusiasm was not diminished, as this crowd shot, lower right, from the 1980 houston playoff game indicates. Along the sidelines, safety Mike Davis grabs his helmet and cornerback Lester Hayes applies his trademark stickum, above. hayes relaxes with a soft drink while the offense moves the ball. Lester was the star of the Houston game, recording two sacks and two interceptions, one for a touchdown as former teammate and Oiler quarterback Ken Stabler received rough treatment. Davis was a hero of the Raiders' next playoff win, intercepting a pass with 56 seconds remaining to seal a 14-12 win over the Browns in Cleveland. Oakland defeated the explosive San Diego Chargers in the AFC title game."
