Handwritten in pencil on the back, "Kenneth Hawkins navigator for 'El Encanto.'" Photo shows Hawkins wearing mechanics coveralls, sitting down next to one of the wood buildings at the airport. He is holding a rag in one hand and appears to be working on an object in his hand which he is looking down at, his mouth open slightly. See H96.1.1880 for information on the Dole Race and on the "El Encanta."
