Handwritten on the back, "Oakland Estuary." Photo is an aerial shot of the Estuary showing both sides. On the left side is the old Moore Shipyard, as well as several other buildings and docks with small boats and large cargo ships docked. On the opposite bank, there is another shipyard and docks but they do not extend in to the Estuary like they do on the other side.
