Tribune clipping on the back, December 23, 1942- "Jim Ford of Lafayette, burner leaderman, is pictured operating the pantograph device with which multiple burning operations are performed at Moore Drydock. Upper photo details the guiding wheel which transmits the design to the burning torches controlled by the block of switches at the right. Below is the machine equiped with four torches, half of its full capacity. The operation pictured is that of burning plate hooks. - Tribune photo." Photo shows a man sitting in front of a machine guiding a tool while four blow torches cut four sheet of metal a short distance from him.
