Clipping on the back, December 6, 1944-- "The winner and five runners-up in the recent blood donor contest at the Moore Drydock Company pose in front of the S.S. Fleetwood, 14,000-ton C-2 cargo ship launched at the yard. Sponsor was Agatha Bittman, third from left, winner of the contest. The contestants were, left to right, Rosemary Casaurang, Laura Hawkes, Mrs. Bittman, Dixie Owens, Maurine Collins and Lee Ann Barbaree. Mrs. Bittman procured 299 pints of blood in two months." Photos shows the six women standing side by side in front of a ship. The three women on the right are wearing long coats, the fourth woman is holding a bouquet of flowers, the fifth woman is wearing a fur stoll around her shoulders, and the sixth woman is wearing a suit.
