Clipping on the back, June 27, 1944-- "A second gold star, awarded for continued excellent production for the war effort, has been added to the Moore Dry Dock Company's Maritime 'M' flag. Displaying the new award are (left to right) Joseph A. Moore Jr., president; Eleanor Fledderman, office worker; Marjorie Olsen, former school teacher turned welder, and Al Wiedemann, shipfitter." Photo shows Moore, wearing a suit, standing next to Fledderman who is holding one end of a flag with a large "M" and two stars. On the right side of the photo is Olsen, holding the other end of the flag, and wearing overalls, a long-sleeved shirt, and a hankerchief over her hair. Standing next to her is Wiedemann wearing trousers, a flannel shirt and a hard hat. He has his hands stuck in his pockets.
