Clipping on the back, May 23, 1943-- "This method of speedily lifting and placing in position the decks of cargo vessels, prior to final welding, has been adopted by the Moore Dry Dock Company. It has proved so successful that it will be used on all maritime hulls, the company reports." Photo shows two huge cranes lowering a pre-fab piece onto the deck of a ship being built. The deck of the ship is not completely finished, beams are still exposed. Several workers are walking around on the deck and watching the crane.
