Clipping on the back, September 12, 1946-- "Approximately 1200 shipyard workers were turned back by pickets when they reported for work at the Moore Drydock Company here this morning, as striking AFL sailors extended their picket lines from piers to the gates of Bay Area shipyards, throwing an estimated 15,000 employees of the yards out of work. -Tribune photo." Photo shows a large crowd of men gathered outside the entrance of Moore Dry Dock. Several cars are parked nearby.
